I really haven't done much in the way of fiction recently. A few edits on The Yellow Flowers, a few ideas for short stories, but nothing significant. Pretty much my entire focus has been on two things.

The audio versions of nothing to see here have unexpectedly taken up more time than I anticipated. Back in September, I posted in a local Facebook group asking if anybody knew where I could find voice actors. Within 48 hours I had almost twenty volunteers. Many of them are experienced voice actors and podcasters, and some of them even offered studio facilities and editing services.
I’m not planning on doing anything major on this until December or January, but I didn't want to let this opportunity go to waste, so I've been thinking about which stories to record, figuring out how to do auditions, and trying to find out everything else I need to know in order to publish a podcast.
Most of my attention, however, has been on Unhack Your Brain. I've already written the first thirty-something posts and they're in the publication queue. I have about thirty more outlined: I've done the preliminary research and I have a rough structure of the pieces. I'm aiming to have all of those written by Christmas: that will give me enough material to keep going until April. I also have rough notes for about thirty more pieces, and I've started planning out some audio content, as well as a series of three books.
I don't know whether I'll be able to keep up this pace on Unhack - in fact I very much doubt it. But obviously, this is what my brain wants to think about, so I'm going to take this opportunity to get as far ahead with this project as I can before I run out of steam.
The Yellow Flowers has been a background task for over thirty years. It can wait a little longer, I guess.
