What a fantastic list of books you love. Re-reading is such a good way to truly get to the heart of a book you love. A few on this list are now books I very much want to reard.
I have many favorite books, but sitting at the top of the list is Lord of the Rings. Suffice to say, we differ on how good the books are. I've re-read them well over 20 times. Tolkien's books strike a chord in me.
Habibi and Wyrd are new to me. Must read them as they are just the kind of books that appeal to me. Labyrinths and Tollbooth are among my favorites as well. Too many books!
Happy Birthday! And I really liked Labrinths, too. Especially Garden of Forking Paths--think that story was in this collection.

And happy birthday to you, Matt.
My inability to connect with LotR surprises a lot of people, including me.
Which of my list spoke to you - and of those, which are new to you?

Happy birthday for yesterday. Hope you're doing something fun over this weekend.
Will read this properly in a bit and see what I think of your top 11.
